WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will work with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external. Internally, this role is part of Nike India operations team and partner closely with cross-functional teams such as Digital Ops, Marketplace Supply chain, Technology and Planning. Externally, this role will require close partnership with Nike’s digital platform partners and Third party Logistics Partners.This role will report to the Logistics Manager and will be based out of Bangalore.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a strong team player with proven logistics and eCommerce experience. The individual must be a self-starter, know how to work independently, receive minimal guidance, solve complex problems, take a new perspective using existing solutions and manage the performance of Digital/E-com operations effectively. You will be responsible for end-to-end digital order fulfilment operations, effectively managing the business process key metrics, SLA, KPI, performance score cards and reviews with Nike partners. You will partner closely with internal cross-functional teams and Nike’s Partners to ensure optimal consumers’ experience. You are strong in operational processes with quick, flexible, and logical mindset to manage and resolve operational challenges for digital operations of Nike India business.
· Minimum of 5 years’ in Logistics / eCommerce, with a Bachelor’s degree in related education or closely related
· Proven experience in digital supply chain, outbound logistics, and fulfilment operations, with a track record of delivering results.Experience working in online/E-commerce operations is essential
· Experience in managing 3PL performance, projects, and peak-sale event planning and execution.
· Working knowledge of Digital Order Management Systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and SAP.
· Proven experience in logistics cost planning,budgeting and delivering cost savings.
· Obsessed with maximizing the effectiveness and efficiency of operations to elevate consumer experience.
· Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and structured problem-solving skills.
· Keen attention to detail, an aptitude for process, and a hunger to continuously learn and grow.
· Ability to work as strong team player within a diverse group.
· Strong analytical and presentation skills, including Excel and business intelligence tools such as Power BI ,Tableau etc
· Adaptability, sound judgment, and a continuous-improvement mindset in ambiguous and dynamic environments.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
- Own day-to-day digital fulfillment operations with 3PLs and digital platform partners, balancing service, capacity, delivery performance, and cost.
- Align distribution-center capacity, delivery planning, and performance expectations with internal cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Track and improve agreed KPIs and SLAs, including last-mile delivery and Expected Delivery Date versus Actual Delivery Date performance.
- Lead partner performance reviews and scorecards, using operational insights to drive corrective actions and sustained improvement.
- Coordinate requirements and stakeholder readiness for successful peak-sale events.
- Assess changes from digital platform partners and coordinate implementation with relevant internal teams.
- Lead Lean and continuous-improvement initiatives across internal and external teams to strengthen operational capability and consumer experience.
- Manage assigned projects or programs, including risks, resources, milestones, and stakeholder communication.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures that support the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods.
- Apply internal and external best practices to improve logistics processes and services.
