About This Role  

The Logistics Operations Lead owns shipping and receiving from end to end. This includes verifying and inspecting inbound deliveries against purchase orders, logging and putting away received goods, and preparing outbound shipments — picking, packing, palletizing, crating, labeling, and staging freight with proper documentation and BOLs for carrier pickup. The role also manages inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock organization, and reconciling physical stock against system records, and supports production by staging materials and keeping parts and supplies available when needed. 

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing logistics, is comfortable with physical floor-based work and equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification required or obtainable), and is detail-oriented and organized. They will coordinate carrier pickups, and handle controlled or regulated material appropriately as the program grows.  

Responsibilities 

• Manage daily shipping and receiving — verify and inspect inbound deliveries against POs, log and put away received goods. 

• Prepare outbound shipments: pick, pack, palletize, crate, label, and stage freight with proper documentation and BOLs. 

• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock organization, and reconciling physical stock against system records. 

• Coordinate carrier pickups and deliveries, and track shipping and inventory activities. 

• Operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack) safely and keep the floor organized, clean, and production-ready. 
• Support production by staging materials and ensuring parts and supplies are available when needed. 

Basic Qualifications 

• Evidence of exceptional ability (prior projects, portfolio of work, completed products, etc).  

• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals.  

• Ability to perform trade studies and make clear recommendations using first principles and engineering fundamentals even with partial information.  

Preferred Skills and Experience 

• Experience in a fast-paced engineering or highly technical environment, with a resourceful approach to delivering under tight timelines or budget constraints. 

Additional Requirements 

• Ability to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.

Compensation and Benefits 

The hourly rate range for this role is $30 to $40 per .  

Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. Please note that the stated salary range is an estimate and may be adjusted based on market conditions, business needs, or other factors. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
