On behalf of our client, a well-established and growing import and commercial representation company in the FMCG sector, we are looking for a Logistics Manager. The role is based at the company’s central warehouse and reports to the COO.

The successful candidate will lead and coordinate warehouse, distribution and regional hub operations, ensuring effective day-to-day execution while contributing to the company’s future logistics development. The position combines hands-on operational leadership with strategic responsibility, including active involvement in the planning and implementation of the company facilities expansion

Key Responsibilities

• Leads and oversees the day-to-day operation of the central warehouse, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and high service levels
• Manages warehouse, distribution, order flow, inbound logistics, packaging, and customer service activities
• Provides remote operational leadership and supervision to the company’s regional hubs
• Coordinates and develops warehouse supervisors, the distribution function, the traffic office, packaging support, and customer service team members
• Oversees relationships and operational performance with third-party logistics providers, transportation partners, and external warehouses
• Ensures effective inventory management, order fulfillment, replenishment, transportation coordination, and nationwide distribution coverage
• Designs, implements, and monitors warehouse policies, procedures, controls, and operating standards
• Monitors warehouse and distribution KPIs, service levels, budgets, costs, and operational reports, implementing corrective and improvement actions where required
• Ensures optimal space utilization and supports warehouse layout planning
• Maintains compliance with applicable warehousing, handling, shipping, health and safety, hygiene, security, and ISO requirements
• Works closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to align logistics operations with commercial requirements and company priorities
• Contributes strategic and operational expertise to the design, development, and transition to the company’s planned new logistics center

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree will be considered an asset
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Warehouse Manager, Logistics Manager, or in a comparable leadership role within a warehouse or logistics center environment
• Proven experience across both warehousing and distribution operations
• Experience managing decentralized warehouses, branches, or regional hubs will be considered a strong advantage
• Experience in the food, pharmaceutical, FMCG, or other temperature-controlled product environment will be strongly preferred
• Previous involvement in the design, setup, expansion, or relocation of a warehouse or logistics center will be considered a strong asset
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management procedures, best practices, inventory controls, and logistics KPIs
• Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), databases, and operational reporting
• Proven ability to lead, coordinate, motivate, and develop operational teams
• Strong analytical, organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to combine strategic thinking with a hands-on and practical approach to daily operations
• Excellent communication, collaboration, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills
• Flexibility, initiative, diplomacy, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Good command of the English language, both written and verbal
