About Tia
Tia is building a new model for women’s healthcare, one that treats women as whole people, not separate conditions or life stages. By integrating primary care, mental health, gynecology, dermatology, and wellness across both in-person and virtual settings, Tia is improving outcomes, lowering costs, and creating a better experience for patients and providers alike.
About the Role
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a clinical support role responsible for delivering safe, reliable, and patient-centered care through Tia’s standardized workflows. You will support both clinical and front-office needs, including patient intake, vital signs, room preparation, procedure support, documentation, and clinic flow.
This role is intended for LPNs with at least one year of hands-on nursing experience who are comfortable supporting day-to-day clinic operations and building proficiency in Tia’s workflows. You will report to the Clinic Manager for operational responsibilities and perform nursing duties under the clinical supervision of a registered nurse or licensed physician, in collaboration with Tia’s in-clinic providers.
What You’ll Do
- Room patients and complete standardized intake, including vital signs, patient history, and reason for visit.
- Prepare exam rooms, procedure trays, and supplies to support safe and efficient patient care.
- Support routine in-office procedures, specimen collection, point-of-care testing, and phlebotomy within your scope of practice, when trained and competency-verified.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Follow infection-control, sterilization, autoclave, and safety protocols.
- Support front-office workflows, including check-in/out, scheduling, phones, and administrative tasks as needed.
- Maintain room and supply readiness and escalate inventory or equipment concerns.
- Communicate clearly with providers, teammates, and patients, and promptly escalate clinical questions, changes in patient condition, or other concerns to the appropriate clinician.
- Learn and consistently follow Tia SOPs, EHR workflows, scheduling tools, and internal communication practices.
- Support primary care and women’s health visits by gathering relevant symptom and medication information and flagging concerns for the clinical team.
- Complete provider-directed follow-up calls or messages after visits, procedures, or medication changes, documenting patient updates and escalating questions or concerns.
- Review provider-approved instructions with patients, including how to take prescribed medications, prepare for in-office procedures, complete follow-up testing, and recognize symptoms that require contacting the clinic.
