[What the role is]
Lecturer / Senior Lecturer (Veterinary Technology)[What you will be working on]
Design, develop, review, and deliver Continuing Education and Training (CET) programmes (both full qualifications and short courses) in veterinary–related disciplines such as animal care, veterinary nursing, animal behaviour and training.
Develop training materials, including lesson plans, slides, assessments, and practical guides
Identify emerging industry trends and opportunities to develop new CET courses and programmes
Adopt innovative and learner-centric teaching methodologies, including blended and experiential learning approaches
Design and develop e-learning content, including microlearning modules
Monitor and evaluate course satisfaction and performance
Implement improvements to enhance learning outcomes and participant experience
Coordinate pre-semester planning, including timetabling, resource allocation, and course setup
Support course promotion activities
[What we are looking for]
Qualification in veterinary technology/veterinary nursing or its equivalent from recognised institutions.
At least 3 to 8 years of relevant industrial experience in a vet clinic/animal hospital.
Familiar with ‘Day One Competences’ for Veterinary Nurses.
Have a passion for developing talents, and genuine interest to share knowledge and interact with youths and adult learners.
Resourceful and able to work independently to meet deadlines and perform well under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated capacity to work within a team.
Able to work in the evenings for night classes
