You will coordinate and teach mental health nursing across postgraduate programs, shaping high-quality, evidence-based learning experiences.
You will connect classroom, simulation and clinical practice, working closely with students and expert clinical partners.
You will also contribute to scholarship in learning and teaching within a supportive, research-informed academic community.
What you will deliver:
- Coordinate and teach mental health nursing subjects across entry-to-practice and postgraduate programs using contemporary blended and online approaches.
- Develop, review and enhance curriculum and simulation activities grounded in evidence-based mental health nursing practice.
- Translate research and scholarship into innovative teaching that improves student learning and professional readiness.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clinical partners and contribute expertise to professional and community activities.
- Engage actively in departmental and school committees, supporting inter-professional learning and strategic educational initiatives.
You may be a great fit if you:
- Hold current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and a master’s degree in nursing.
- Possess postgraduate qualifications and recent clinical experience in mental health nursing practice.
- Demonstrate advanced therapeutic skills, including expertise in child safety standards and family violence responses.
- Bring experience delivering mental health nursing education and coordinating programs or subjects within nursing.
- Maintain an established scholarship profile in learning and teaching, including publications or conference presentations.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with students, colleagues and external stakeholders to support high-quality education.
