Job Description

• Perform monthly reviews of financial statements and NAV packages for Private and Hedge funds, validating investor allocations, management fees, and incentive fees using reconciliation reports from fund administrators and internal teams. Provide validation support to Manager for final sign off. Resolve accounting matters and coordinate with business partners to address discrepancies identified during reviews. Follow through resolution on any breaks identified by service provider. Validate monthly NAV reporting for hedge strategy SMAs and prepare them for managerial review.
• Conduct first-level reviews of fund expense budgets and reports prepared by fund administrators. Manage capital activity tracking such as subscriptions and redemptions for private and hedge funds. Coordinate investor capital cash movements with transfer agents and communicate monthly capital activity to stakeholders. Prepare wires for redemptions and PIPE investments. Support deliverables related to APAC region distributor and sub-distributor arrangements by preparing monthly reports and liaising between teams.
• Monitor custodian cash balances to ensure sufficient funding for redemptions and payments. Oversee margin balances at prime brokers to determine necessary money movements. Calculate and coordinate payment of management fees and incentive fees for hedge funds, preparing supporting documentation for managerial approval. Prepare and submit various private/hedge fund data reports to internal teams. Assist during fund audits, internal audits, and compliance reviews by gathering required information.
• Collect data for regulatory and compliance reporting items such as Form PF, Form ADV, and Form 5500, supporting daily Form PF monitoring under managerial supervision. Contribute to service level agreements (SLAs) and operational volumetric metrics reporting. Update and maintain departmental procedures and operating documentation. Support managerial efforts to improve operational processes, strengthen internal controls, and mitigate operational, regulatory, and financial risks across private fund operations.
• Support driving and sustaining the lean culture to enable identifying potential opportunities and strengthening controls. Support changes to regulatory and any other controls. Ensure zero issues that could result in significant brand, financial or business implications.
