WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will be part of the Materials Buy/Sell and Allocation team within the Footwear Product Supply Chain organization. The team develops, expands, and oversees operation of strategic capabilities that strengthen Nike’s multi-sourced materials program execution and unlock greater flexibility, responsiveness, resilience, and cost efficiency. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an entrepreneurial builder who can identify opportunities, turn ambiguity into a clear strategic direction, and develop compelling business cases for new footwear materials supply chain processes and capabilities. This person thinks creatively, boldly, and commercially, combining strong problem structuring and analytical skills with the curiosity to challenge current ways of working. They can assess market and business needs, quantify value, evaluate risk and feasibility, and translate complex ideas into clear recommendations for senior leaders. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and influencer who can mobilize cross-functional stakeholders, lead multiple strategic workstreams at once, and move concepts from early exploration through executive alignment and decision making. They bring a growth mindset, a bias for action, and a passion for building the future of Nike’s multi-sourced materials ecosystem.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

·       8+ years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, strategy, business development, analytics, or a related field

·       Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Strategy, or a related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training

·       Demonstrated experience identifying opportunities and developing business cases, strategic recommendations, or investment proposals

·       Experience with RFP/RFQ (Request for Proposal or Request for Quote) processes preferred

·       Strong analytical and financial modelling skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Tableau or Power BI

·       Ability to synthesize complex inputs into clear, executive-ready narratives and recommendations

·       Comfortable and excited about adapting to new technology capabilities, including AI

·       Experience in footwear supply chain preferred

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

As part of the Materials Buy/Sell and Allocation team, you will lead business development and strategy for Nike’s footwear multi-sourced materials supply chain capabilities. Your primary focus will be identifying and shaping new opportunities, developing business cases, and creating the strategic pathways required to expand capability and deliver flexibility, resiliency, speed, and value. Responsibilities will include:

·       Identify and prioritize high-value opportunities to expand Nike’s materials Buy/Sell, allocation, and multi-sourced materials management capabilities and ways of working, informed by business needs, supply chain risk, partner insights, and financial value.

·       Develop robust business cases that define the opportunity, strategic rationale, value potential, investment needs, risks, tradeoffs, operating implications, and path to scale.

·       Shape capability strategies and multi-year roadmaps that translate enterprise priorities into clear choices, sequenced initiatives, and measurable outcomes.

·       Lead discovery and feasibility work with Finance, Tax, Customs, Legal, Technology, Sourcing, Costing, Planning, and other subject-matter experts to test assumptions and determine the strongest path forward.

·       Build alignment across internal and external stakeholders, influence senior leaders, and translate complex opportunities into concise recommendations and decision-ready narratives.

·       Define the strategic framework, governance model, success measures, and transition plan needed to move approved strategies into implementation

·       Manage a portfolio of emerging opportunities, balancing competing priorities and directing focus toward the ideas with the greatest strategic and financial impact for Nike.
