About This Role
You'll be the analytics lead for Runna's Performance Marketing function, bringing rigor and strategic insight to paid media, acquisition, and marketing-led initiatives. Working closely with growth marketing, strategy, and finance, you'll define the right metrics, build measurement frameworks, and turn data into decisions that shape how millions of athletes experience Runna.
We follow a flexible hybrid model that translates to more than half of your time on-site – 3 days per week in Runna's office based in London, UK.
The Team You'll Join
The Marketing Analytics team powers the decisions that drive both Strava and Runna's user and subscription growth and retention. We sit at the intersection of data and strategy, partnering across marketing, product, and finance to accelerate learning, make data-informed decisions, and define data-inspired solutions that fuel both Strava and Runna's growth.
What You'll Do
Own the analytics and measurement strategy for Runna Performance Marketing, including defining KPIs, building measurement frameworks, and translating outputs into actionable recommendations for key stakeholders, with additional support for other marketing areas such as Lifecycle and Organic Marketing where needed
Build high-quality marketing attribution models, using your paid media expertise as the foundation the team uses for campaign strategy
Leverage MMM, MTA, Incrementality Testing and other tools to measure the impact of spend distribution across business units, geos and channels, and surface new platforms for testing
Maintain up-to-date awareness of paid media industry trends and best practices, including evolving privacy requirements and tracking standards and apply them to our attribution and measurement approach.
Partner with performance marketers to design and evaluate experiments across marketing channels and geos, ensuring rigorous incrementality measurement
Design and deliver dashboards that make key insights intuitive and accessible
Work with stakeholders across the business to turn open-ended questions into technical solutions
What You'll Bring to the Team
Substantial experience (5+ years) in marketing data analytics or analytics engineering, with a track record of building high-quality, reusable data models and BI dashboards for varied stakeholders
Advanced SQL skills, including building complex, scalable queries across marketing platforms (e.g. Apple Ads, Google Ads, Meta, AppsFlyer) and data warehouses (ideally Snowflake)
Experience designing and evaluating experiments, including incrementality testing and A/B methodologies
Strong Python skills for data cleansing, transformation, and analysis
A track record of translating complex technical findings into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience coaching or mentoring more junior analysts and helping set technical standards for a team
