As a Lead Logistics Automation & Operational Excellence Specialist, you will support the digital transformation and continuous improvement of Supply Chain Management operations.
The role focuses on developing and implementing automation solutions, analyzing operational data, and driving process improvements across key SCM activities, including Planning, System Updates, CBL Checking, Documentation, and Financial Operations.
You will be responsible for identifying automation opportunities and developing solutions that reduce manual effort, improve processing time, enhance data quality, and increase operational efficiency. You will also support the deployment and maintenance of automation solutions in the production environment.
The role will work closely with Operations teams, Customer Experience teams, Super Users, and Technical teams to translate business needs into practical and sustainable solutions

• Key Responsibilities

1. Automation

• Identify and assess automation opportunities across SCM operational processes.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain automation solutions using Python, VBA, and other relevant technologies.
• Translate business requirements into practical, scalable, and user-friendly automation solutions.
• Monitor automation performance in the production environment and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Explore and apply AI-enabled solutions to reduce manual effort, accelerate task completion, and improve operational decision-making.
• Track the benefits delivered by automation initiatives, with a primary focus on hours saved and FTE efficiency.

2. Data analysis

• Collect, clean, validate, and analyze operational data across different SCM functions.
• Identify trends, performance gaps, root causes, and improvement opportunities through data analysis.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and operational reports for daily management and performance monitoring.
• Provide data-driven insights related to cost, FTE efficiency, processing time, productivity, quality, and operational performance.
• Ensure that reports and dashboards are accurate, consistent, user-friendly, and aligned with stakeholder requirements.

3. Continuous Improvement Business Partner

• Partner with operational teams to identify pain points, process inefficiencies, manual activities, control gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Apply continuous improvement and Lean principles to eliminate waste, reduce process variation, and improve operational performance.
• Support the prioritization of improvement opportunities based on business value, feasibility, risk, and expected efficiency gains.
• Coordinate improvement initiatives from opportunity identification through implementation, benefit validation, and stabilization.
• Ensure that implemented solutions are effectively adopted and sustained by operational teams.

• A strong continuous improvement mindset with practical exposure to process improvement, process simplification, or automation initiatives.
• Ability to identify operational pain points, understand root causes, and recommend practical solutions.
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality, controls, data accuracy, compliance, and sustainable implementation.
• Willingness to challenge existing ways of working constructively and propose better alternatives.
• Basic knowledge of Lean, process mapping, root cause analysis, or other continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.

2. Automation Skills

• Required
  • Hands-on experience with Python for task automation, data processing, or operational solution development.
  • Hands-on experience with VBA for automating Excel-based activities and repetitive operational tasks.
  • Experience with Power BI, including data preparation, data modeling, dashboard development, and visualization.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into functional automation solutions.
  • Ability to troubleshoot automation issues and support solutions after deployment to the production environment.
• Preferred:
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, or SharePoint.
  • Experience using Microsoft Copilot, Copilot agents, Claude Code, or similar AI-enabled tools to improve productivity and operational processes.
  • Familiarity with APIs, SQL, or other development and integration tools.

3. Self-learning

• Strong self-learning capability and curiosity about new technologies, automation methods, and improvement practices.
• Ability to independently research, evaluate, and experiment with new tools and technologies.
• Ability to learn from technical documentation, online resources, business users, and Subject Matter Experts.
• Willingness to continuously improve technical, analytical, and business knowledge.
• Ability to determine whether a new technology is appropriate, practical, secure, and valuable for an operational use case.

4. Office Productivity

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly:
  • Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, PivotTables, data validation, and problem-solving techniques.
  • Microsoft Outlook for professional communication and email management.
  • Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for process documentation, reporting, and stakeholder presentations.
• Ability to organize, analyze, and present operational data in a structured and professional manner.
• Comfortable working in a highly digital and system-driven environment involving multiple applications and platforms.
• Ability to produce clear process documentation, user guides, presentations, and management reports.

5. Operational Excellence & Language:

• Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Basic project management capability, including planning activities, coordinating stakeholders, tracking actions, and managing delivery timelines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
