Through partnerships with Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, Hiring Managers, Legal, Compliance, and external vendors, you will gain broad HR exposure while building foundational expertise for future growth.

What you will be doing
• Administer the pre-employment background screening process from initiation through final disposition.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for the company's background screening vendor and help maintain a productive vendor relationship.
• Review background screening reports and related documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Monitor screening progress, resolve routine issues, and ensure timely completion of candidate requirements.
• Analyze compliance, screening, and vendor data to identify trends, monitor service levels, and provide insights that support decision-making and process improvements.
• Complete Form I-9 and employment eligibility verification steps for all new hires.
• Escalate potential concerns and consult with Legal, Compliance, HR Business Partners, and Talent Acquisition partners when necessary.
• Maintain confidential, detailed, and accurate records to support compliance requirements, audit readiness, and sound governance practices.
• Review candidate Conflict of Interest disclosures as part of the pre-employment process.
• Identify disclosures requiring additional review and coordinate escalations to Compliance and Legal partners.
• Track review outcomes and maintain appropriate documentation.
• Develop a working knowledge of employment laws and regulations that impact hiring and pre-employment decisions, including FCRA, EEOC, and related requirements.
• Support compliance-related processes, audits, reporting, and documentation activities.
• Assist with process improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, reduce risk, and improve candidate experience.
• Partner with Finance, Total Rewards and external vendors to ensure accurate vendor invoicing, reporting, and budget tracking activities.
• Build strong relationships with Talent Acquisition, Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners, Compliance, Legal, and other stakeholders.
• Provide timely and professional communication regarding candidate status, compliance requirements, and process updates.
• Demonstrate sound judgment when handling sensitive or confidential matters.
• Contribute to a positive team environment focused on service, collaboration, and continuous improvement, while supporting broader HR Compliance initiatives such as policy governance, employee relations, global mobility, and other compliance-related programs as needed.

What you bring
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Human Development, Sociology, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in HR related role (recruiting, compliance, administration)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with candidates, leaders, vendors, and partners.
