We have an exciting opportunity for a Lawyer to Associate to join our Insurance team in Perth working with Partners, Rani Aria Retnam and Sue Wilkinson

About the team and the work

• You will work closely with highly regarded Partners and Senior Lawyers on a broad range of workers compensation and personal injury matters, providing strategic advice and delivering positive outcomes for employers and insurers.

• This role offers the opportunity to manage your own files with increasing autonomy, develop strong client relationships, and gain exposure to complex litigation and dispute resolution matters within a supportive and collaborative team environment.

About you

• Qualified lawyer with 1–5 years PQE from a reputable firm, ideally with experience in workers compensation, insurance, or personal injury law. Defendant experience is preferred, although strong plaintiff backgrounds will also be considered.

• Newly admitted lawyers with pre-admission experience are also encouraged to apply.

• Demonstrated ability to manage matters autonomously, build strong client relationships, and provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice.

• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills, coupled with excellent attention to detail and a collaborative approach to practice.
