Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable Laundry Aide to help provide clean, sanitary linens and clothing for our residents. This role is essential to maintaining a comfortable, safe, and hygienic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, sort, wash, dry, and fold resident clothing and facility linens
- Deliver clean laundry promptly to resident rooms
- Label new resident clothing as needed
- Maintain linen quality and remove damaged or stained items
- Follow all infection control and sanitation procedures
- Maintain inventory of laundry supplies
- Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Report equipment issues or maintenance needs promptly
- Keep laundry areas clean, organized, and sanitary
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1 year of laundry or housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable and team-oriented
