POSITION SUMMARY:

Support the Kroger Company’s space management and assortment process on behalf of Merchandising Execution through data integrity reinforcement and quality assurance checks.  Positively and measurably impact the Kroger Company sales potential by working with Kroger Merchandising and P.L. Marketing’s PCOE team to ensure that work follows the KOMPASS timeline and is completed accurately and efficiently.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• This hybrid position will be required to work in our Corporate Office at least two days per week based on your team’s schedule.
• Develop expertise in the KOMPASS timeline and best practice processes.
• Capacity to learn the Kroger systems such as Venus, PID, RDIC and DSD Host to support item setup accuracy.
• Assist in quality assurance pre and post planogram publishing for each category update.
• Provide support for every step of the KOMPASS process; develop efficiencies on an ongoing basis and constantly contribute to the process through utilizing reports and trackers.
• Communicate with internal and external departments as needed to support KOMPASS initiatives.

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4 year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Degree in Business, Statistics or Marketing preferred
• Proficient Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience functioning in a corporate office environment
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Capability to collaborate with others and contribute effectively to a team
• Highly motivated self-starter who can work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, prioritize and multi-task

MINIMUM PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

• Must be able to:
  • Remain standing/sitting for several hours at a time
  • Lift 10-30 lbs. occasionally
