Overview:
DV Trading is seeking a Junior Trading Operations Analyst who thrives on uncovering gaps, chasing down answers, and building robust data pipelines that tie everything together. The Operations Analyst role is wide-ranging, and successful candidates will be required to work with everyone on the desk including traders and developers in London and our other offices around the world. We are looking for a recent graduate with the ability to learn – experience in the financial industry is not required.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the desk’s Trading Operations Analyst and help with running all day-to-day operations.
• Develop working knowledge of the trading, clearing and settlement of all asset classes traded at the firm (commodities, equities, futures, options, FX, crypto).
• Enter any OTC trades agreed by the desk into our trade capture systems
• Own day-to-day operational processes: SOD/EOD position reconciliation, pricing & settlements, PnL calculations and reporting, critical intraday monitoring
• Design a system of alerts, checks, and reconciliations that preserves data integrity, communicates breaks in real time, and prevents small issues from multiplying.
• Collaborate with developers to shape databases, trader tools, and position management GUIs.
• Create precise processes to streamline onboarding of new traders, strategies, and products.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 0-2 years of experience in an analytical or operational role within the banking or trading industry
• Clear thinker with advanced aptitude for breaking down complex problems in a timely fashion
• Expertise in Excel and SQL required; familiarity with Python and Bloomberg is a plus
•  Strong communication skills and ability to advance many simultaneous discussions forward
• Ability to work on many things at once and prioritize when necessary
• Strong work ethic, desire to learn, and ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Independent and resourceful with a willingness to take on challenges and figure out solutions
