What you’ll do
- Production Planning: Manage daily production schedules and planning activities for Polyurethane (PU) and rubber-lining products, ensuring timely supply to customers at specified quantities.
- Material Coordination: Monitor SAP-generated material requirements, review and clear planning exceptions, and coordinate with Procurement to ensure material availability aligns with production needs.
- Operational Communication: Act as the operational bridge between Production and Procurement by communicating daily plans, rescheduling orders based on priorities, and supporting urgent customer requests through schedule adjustments.
- Team Collaboration: Participate actively in daily operational and war-room meetings to align production plans with business needs and respond promptly to changing situations.
- Performance Success: Success in this role means maintaining high delivery performance with minimal overdue orders, contributing to high service level standards and operational efficiency.
- Travel Requirements: This role is fully onsite at Batu Caves with no travel requirements.

What you’ll bring
Must-haves:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent technical apprenticeship with strong business acumen.
- Experience in production planning, preferably in automotive, metal, or rubber industries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); SAP experience is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Nice-to-haves:
- Exposure to supply chain or materials planning concepts.
- Fast learner with agility to adapt to changing priorities and operational demands.
- Experience in managing planning exceptions and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Information technology savvy with a willingness to learn new systems and tools.
