Metsä Board, Europe’s leading producer of premium fresh-fibre based paperboards and innovative and sustainable packaging solutions, is looking for a Junior Customer Service Specialist for temporary position (employment period of 12 months) to join our Customer Service Team in Metsä Board’s European Supply Chain Centre (SCC) in Gdańsk.

Your role in the future Metsä:

• Manage the end-to-end customer order process, from order placement through delivery, invoicing and documentation, in line with agreed service levels.
• Provide professional support to assigned customers, respond to enquiries and build strong, long-term customer relationships.
• Maintain accurate customer records, master data and documentation, ensuring traceability and up-to-date information.
• Monitor stock levels, credit limits, payments, complaints, delays and other issues affecting customer accounts, cooperating closely with Sales and internal stakeholders.
• Support team continuity by acting as a backup for other customer accounts and contributing to team targets, process compliance and continuous improvement.

What is required from you:

• Customer-focused, service-minded and proactive approach to problem-solving
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a multicultural environment
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize effectively
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in demanding situations
• Good command of Business English and relevant customer service language(s)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Previous customer service experience and SAP knowledge are an advantage
