What you'll be doing

As part of the Engineering team at Halfspace, you’ll help build the data and AI platforms that power the next generation of applied intelligence. You’ll design, develop, and deploy robust systems that enable our scientists, researchers, and clients to transform data into insight — and insight into action.

You’ll work on complex, high-impact projects across industries, collaborating closely with experts in machine learning, data science, and strategy. From designing scalable data architectures and optimizing model pipelines, to integrating cutting-edge AI into enterprise environments, you’ll be at the core of turning ideas into reality.

Who we're looking for

We’re looking for engineers who combine deep technical ability with intellectual curiosity and a drive to push boundaries. You thrive in solving complex problems and take pride in building elegant, high-performance systems.

You may come from a background in software engineering, data engineering, MLOps, or platform architecture — but above all, you have a passion for applying technology to create meaningful impact.

We value:

• Strong proficiency in one or more of Python, Java, C++, or similar languages

• Experience with modern data and AI infrastructure (e.g., cloud platforms, distributed systems, CI/CD, containerization)

• A solid understanding of software design principles, scalability, and performance optimization

• A collaborative mindset and ability to work across disciplines

• Curiosity, precision, and a pioneering spirit — the qualities that define Halfspace
