How you'll make an impact 

As part of the team, you'll help design and implement purpose-built business applications for international clients in the public sector. You'll be involved throughout the entire product lifecycle — from turning an initial idea into a solution through development and going live.

• Passion for software development -Through the effective use of modern technologies such as Java, Spring Boot or Quarkus, modern JavaScript/TypeScript frontend frameworks (such as Angular, React, Vue, Svelte or similar), and Kafka, together with the appropriate DevOps tools, you will contribute significantly to the success of our clients and their solutions. We embrace GenAI-augmented development and are at the forefront of using tools such as GitHub Copilot to empower developers and enhance their skills and creativity.

What is important to us 

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a comparable field.
• At least 2-3 years of practical, hands-on experience in Java and backend software development.
• Experience with Spring Boot and/or Quarkus for building backend applications and services.
• At least 1 year of professional experience developing frontend applications using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks. Experience with Angular, React, Vue, Svelte or comparable technologies is valued, and you are comfortable learning and working with different frontend stacks depending on client needs.
• Experience with Kafka or other event-driven/message-based architectures is highly valued.
• A DevOps mindset, with an understanding of high code quality, automated testing and modern software engineering practices.
• You are eager to learn and motivated by achieving ambitious goals as part of a team. You enjoy working directly with customers and contributing to both technical and business discussions.
• You speak fluent English.
• You are willing to travel to clients in countries such as Switzerland and Germany when required.

Nice to have

• Experience with technologies and tools such as Playwright, Azure, Helm, Terraform and GitHub Actions/workflows.
• Experience designing or working with distributed systems, microservices or event-driven architectures.
• Experience working with AI-assisted development tools or agents such as GitHub Copilot, Claude or similar technologies.
• Experience working with multiple frontend frameworks and adapting to different technology stacks across projects.
