In order to support our diverse team, Airbus Aerostructures (ASA) is looking for an IT Solution Architect for Identity and Access Management (d/f/m).

You will join our international and dedicated team to provide Digital Workplace (DW) solutions to around 19.000 customers.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• You will manage and steer external suppliers across both the Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Digital Workplace (DW) domains.

• You will define, monitor, and enforce critical Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational stability.

• You will take ownership of end-to-end Contract Management including lifecycle tracking, cost optimization for software and external operational support.

• You will act as the primary escalation authority for severe service degradations, actively mitigating operational risks associated with legacy systems.

• You will conduct rigorous service review meetings, holding vendors accountable for their performance and driving continuous service improvement initiatives.

• You will work closely with the IAM and DW Architects to ensure that supplier roadmaps and deliverables strictly align with AEROSTRUCTURE’s local operational needs and the strategic goals of the department.

Desired skills and qualifications

• You hold a degree in Business Administration, IT Management, (Business) Informatics, or bring a comparable qualification with proven experience in IT Service & Vendor Management.

• You bring a strong track record in ITIL-based service delivery, contract negotiation, and supplier steering within a highly complex, multi-vendor corporate environment.

• You possess a solid fundamental understanding of both Digital Workplace ecosystems (cloud productivity, OS lifecycles) and IAM frameworks (IDM provisioning, access governance).

• You are highly analytical, with the ability to translate complex IT service data into actionable performance metrics and management reports.

• You bring excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills to confidently mediate between local AEROSTRUCTURE business units, external vendors, and global Airbus IT functions.

• You are fluent in Romanian and English. German is highly desirable.
