We are seeking an IT Operations Manager to design, secure, and manage our cloud-first enterprise technologies and network infrastructure. In this role, you will manage junior engineers, lead cross-functional IT and Infrastructure projects, and optimize lifecycle management for a nationwide remote workforce. You will oversee the IT Service Desk, enhance platform observability, and participate in an after-hours on-call rotation to ensure system availability. The ideal candidate has extensive platform experience and a strong background in identity management, SASE, and MDM solutions.

This role is hybrid in our Irving office. 

Responsibilities: 

• Serve as a technical project lead, performing architectural reviews and mentoring junior IT Operations Engineers across the organization.
• Design and integrate cloud-first enterprise platforms, including Okta IdP, SASE, EDR, and MDM systems.
• Oversee operating procedures, training, and device provisioning for employee joiners, movers, and leavers across a nationwide remote workforce.
• Administer, monitor, and support the IT Service Desk (ITSM) alongside corporate email, file sharing, and video conferencing tools.
• Plan, budget, and track the mobile workstation fleet throughout its entire lifecycle, including refreshes, decommissioning, and secure destruction.
• Design, configure, and manage cloud, on-premises, and SaaS network environments while enhancing observability and system telemetry.
• Drive security and compliance process improvements, resolve system outages, and participate in the after-hours on-call rotation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business and engineering leaders to deliver technical presentations, best practices, and documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience) followed by 5+ years of experience leading end-to-end corporate technology platform projects.
• 3+ years in IT leadership roles across Helpdesk, deskside, or user-facing support.
• Relevant advanced certifications in security, identity, or administration (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CIAM, Okta Certified Administrator, or Microsoft IAAA).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with a proven ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders, navigate conflict, and build consensus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities to independently manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and coach peers and team members across the organization.
• Preferred Skills:
  
  • Expert knowledge of enterprise identity principles (governance, access certification, PAM) in Okta or AzureAD, including workflow automation tools (Okta Workflows, Ansible, UiPath).
  • Experience managing a corporate IT Helpdesk/Service Desk (Jira Service Management preferred) and mobile-first workstation fleets via IT Asset Management (ITAM).
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki, UniFi, SASE, VPNs, site-to-site routing, and office wireless configurations.
  • Strong foundation in corporate security best practices, endpoint security, risk management, and ITIL framework alignment.
  • Proficiency with logging, alerting, and SIEM tools (Datadog, Sumo, Sentinel) alongside intermediate knowledge of core AWS and Azure cloud services.
  • Familiarity with modern engineering workflows, including Agile methodology, change management, technical proposal writing, and process orchestration.

Compensation: In addition to salary, Total Rewards include bonus eligibility, a stock option package, and benefits as outlined below. The role described above offers a base salary of $115,000 to $140,000 + corporate bonus eligibility. Your offer will be based on location, the alignment of your qualifications with the requirements of the job and internal equity
