About This Opportunity

Join the UNIQLO Future Leaders Internship Programme and gain hands-on exposure to IT operations within a fast-paced retail environment. As an IT Operations Intern, you will work closely with the IT team to support technology deployment projects, IT asset management, documentation initiatives, and operational improvement activities. Through assignments, you will gain valuable experience in IT service management, project coordination, data analysis, and technology operations while supporting business and store operations across UNIQLO.

What You Will Learn

By the end of the internship, you will:

• Understand end-to-end IT operations, asset management, and project management processes.

• Gain exposure to IT infrastructure, device lifecycle management, and technology deployment activities.

• Develop analytical, documentation, and reporting skills through real business projects.

• Learn how IT teams support business users, retail stores, and operational continuity.

• Build communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills through cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Support IT device deployment, refresh, and asset management activities across stores and business functions.

• Assist in IT asset tracking, stock-take exercises, and inventory management activities.

• Support the creation, maintenance, and improvement of IT knowledge articles, user guides, and operational documentation.

• Assist in data validation, reporting, and documentation activities related to IT projects and operational processes.

• Provide coordination and administrative support for IT projects, vendors, and business stakeholders.

Potential Projects

• Support technology deployment and device refresh initiatives across stores and support functions.

• Participate in IT operations and process improvement activities to enhance operational efficiency and user experience.

• Assist in documentation, reporting, and data analysis activities that support IT service management and business operations.

Who Should Apply

We are looking for students who:

• Are pursuing Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related disciplines, with an interest in IT operations and technology support.

• Have basic knowledge of Windows, macOS, iOS, and networking concepts.

• Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Are comfortable using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft 365 applications.

• Are organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Have a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
