Who is NTE, NTE 35W, and LBJ?
The North Tarrant Express (NTE) was the first design-build-finance-operate-maintain managed lanes project in Texas and consisted of the complete reconstruction of 13.3 miles of the existing I-820/SH-183 corridor between Dallas and Fort Worth. Since opening in October 2014, nine months ahead of the contracted completion date, the general highway lanes are experiencing a 70% decrease in congestion time and a 15% increase in average speed. This Cintra-led project has doubled capacity and significantly improved mobility along this heavily congested corridor that traverses the heart of six cities through Northeast Tarrant County.
The North Tarrant Express 35W (NTE 35W) project spans 16.8 miles from I-30 in downtown Fort Worth to Eagle Parkway at the north end of Alliance Airport. The project is operated and maintained by the Cintra-led consortium in North Texas. This project has improved mobility by adding additional road capacity through a combination of general highway lanes and continuous frontage roads, along with tolled express lanes that use variable pricing to keep traffic moving.
The LBJ Express (LBJ) is currently the largest P3 operation in Texas and one of the largest ever undertaken in the U.S. It is a regionally-significant transportation improvement project in North Texas that is relieving severe congestion in the dense urban area of north Dallas. In 2009, the Cintra-led consortium was selected to complete the design, construction, finance, operation, and maintenance of the project along I-635 and I-35E. Since opening in September 2015, the general highway lanes are realizing a 60% decrease in congestion time and a 10% increase in average speed.

Job Description:
The IT Coordinator supports the day-to-day delivery of Information Technology services across the organization. The position serves as a liaison among end users, corporate IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to help ensure reliable operation of technology services, end-user computing, telecommunications, mobile devices, physical security systems, and local infrastructure. The role coordinates IT support, project implementations, cybersecurity and compliance activities, asset lifecycle management, access administration, vendor services, and technology deployments while following corporate policies, procedures, and service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Support and Service Delivery
- Provide onsite and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, docking stations, monitors, printers, mobile devices, tablets, conference room technologies, Microsoft 365 applications, Microsoft Teams, and related business systems.
- Coordinate and track incidents and service requests through the corporate ticket management system, including prioritization, escalation, user communication, and closure.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, telecommunications, and end-user technology issues, escalating complex matters to the appropriate support teams.
- Maintain accurate support records, technical documentation, user guides, and resolution histories.
IT Operations and Infrastructure Support
- Assist with the administration, maintenance, and operational support of local IT infrastructure.
- Support network equipment installations, circuit activations, hardware replacements, equipment upgrades, and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Coordinate vendor maintenance activities, service windows, and corrective actions for operational issues.
- Support business continuity and recovery activities during technology outages or service disruptions.
IT Asset Lifecycle Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records for laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, tablets, mobile phones, hotspots, radios, and related equipment.
- Coordinate receiving, tagging, deployment, assignment, transfer, recovery, warranty support, reconciliation, and secure disposal of company technology assets.
- Perform periodic inventory reviews and maintain hardware replacement and lifecycle planning records.
Mobile Device and Telecommunications Management
- Administer corporate cellular devices, service plans, hotspots, tablets, radios, and associated mobile services.
- Coordinate activations, changes, upgrades, suspensions, replacements, and troubleshooting with telecommunications providers.
- Maintain cellular account, inventory, usage, and billing documentation.
Access Administration and Employee Lifecycle Support
- Coordinate IT onboarding, offboarding, employee transfers, workstation moves, and technology provisioning activities.
- Process and track requests for application, system, SharePoint, building, and technology access in accordance with approved authorization procedures.
- Maintain access records and support periodic user-access reviews and compliance audits.
- Coordinate recovery of equipment, credentials, access badges, and assigned technology assets during employee separations.
Physical Security and Building Access Systems
- Maintain building access records, access permissions, security badges, and key fob administration.
- Support access control systems, badge readers, door-control hardware, and related security technologies.
- Coordinate vendor repairs and assist with physical access reviews, audits, and documentation.
IT Project Coordination
- Coordinate approved IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, telecommunications, software, and business technology projects.
- Assist with planning, scheduling, procurement, testing, implementation, deployment, and project documentation.
- Track project milestones, risks, dependencies, action items, and stakeholder communications.
- Support office relocations, conference room deployments, technology refreshes, system upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Vendor and Procurement Coordination
- Obtain quotations and pricing from approved vendors and service providers.
- Coordinate purchases, equipment deliveries, warranty claims, replacements, site visits, installations, maintenance, and support engagements.
- Assist with invoice validation, receiving documentation, procurement records, and vendor contact information.
Cybersecurity, Compliance, and Audit Support
- Support cybersecurity and compliance activities by maintaining accurate asset, access, and configuration records.
- Assist with internal and external audits, vulnerability remediation tracking, control reviews, and evidence collection.
- Promptly escalate suspected cybersecurity incidents, unauthorized access, control deficiencies, or technology risks in accordance with company procedures.
- Support software compliance, access governance, and adherence to corporate security policies and standards.
Documentation and Continuous Improvement
- Develop, maintain, and update procedures, work instructions, user guides, support documents, project records, and audit evidence.
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, operational efficiency, asset management, access administration, and the user experience.
- Assist with departmental metrics, operational reports, and performance indicators.
Emergency and After-Hours Support
- Participate in planned after-hours maintenance, implementations, and service upgrades when required.
- When delegated by IT management, coordinate the initial response to critical operational incidents and emergency situations and escalate issues to the appropriate support teams.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Technology or related field, Bachelor’s preferred
- 5-7+ years of experience supporting IT operations, end-user computing, telecommunications, asset management, access administration, or technology project coordination.
- Experience supporting multi-site operations and working with service desk, ticketing, and asset management systems preferred.
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office products
- Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

- Mobile device administration, IT asset management, access control systems, IT service management processes, and cybersecurity best practices.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, ITIL Foundation, Microsoft Fundamentals, or a comparable industry are the preferred certifications.
