Position Summary:
Oversee all activities in the organization related to ordering, receiving, storing and distributing materials, equipment, merchandise, supplies and productsResponsibilities
- Disassemble and evaluate parts of cancelled jobs.
- Operate a forklift and hand tools.
- Operate an overhead crane.
- Recycle excess inventory components.
- Consolidate and organize rack shelves.
- Scan returned surplus/jobs to rack locations.
- Deliver components to Technician locations according to department procedure.
- Maintain clean and orderly Inventory and Surplus area.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures for department and company.
- Receive incoming jobs and/or purchased parts and handle according to department procedure.
- Gather all return to inventory parts daily and return to the appropriate location.
- Tear hydraulic/electronic units down to component level and store parts according to department procedures.
- Cross-trained in all warehouse departments: Shipping, Receiving and Inventory.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
General Education and Experience
- Education—High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Experience—Forklift experience, computer literate, ability to identify mechanical and electronic components a plus.
- Physical Dexterity—Must be able to lift up to 75lbs. Position stands 95 to 100% of the workday. Frequently required to stoop, bend, kneel and crouch
