Job Description:
- Performs daily restocking of supplies, orders supplies, and maintains a current inventory database.
- Establishes reporting and evaluation systems to monitor inventory performance. Identifies and implements approved improvements to inventory structure and cost reduction.
- Processes instrument and equipment cleaning and repair requests, troubleshooting malfunctions as needed, and ensures compliance with environmental and safety standards.
- Communicates with purchasing to ensure accurate supply pricing and addresses backorder issues. Collaborates to enhance inventory management practices.
- Provides inventory reports, updates charge codes, and oversees cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Ensures compliance with EOC and JCAHO readiness rounds regarding supply and equipment storage.
Education Requirement:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
- College coursework, preferred.

Skills:
- Knowledge of supply distribution and materials management terminology.
- Ability to understand and apply standards of infection control.
- Ability to understand and apply inventory management skills.
Experience:
Inventory management experience, preferred.
