Reporting to the Manufacturing Operations Manager the Assembler is responsible for assembling, fitting, and installing mechanical components and subassemblies according to engineering drawings, specifications, and standard work instructions. This role ensures products are built safely, accurately, and efficiently to meet quality and delivery requirements.

This position is part of the Productions Operations Department located in Grand Rapids, MI and will be on-site.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels of raw material and finished goods
• Maintain detailed records of inventory movements, including receipts, transfers, and disposals
• Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies
• Owner of the cycle count program and annual physical inventory (raw materials, WIP and finished goods), ensuring compliance with Veralto’s policies
• Analyze inventory discrepancies to identify trends, root causes of discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvements
• Perform inventory and cost analysis to achieve improved inventory turns and accuracy

The essential requirements of the job include:  

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or operations or management preferred
• 3 years’ experience in inventory control, warehousing, production, or a related field preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP Systems.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of inventory control principles, including Kanban
