Position Highlights:

·         Position: Interventional Procedures Technician Lead

·         Location: Edward Hospital, Naperville, IL

·         Full Time/Part Time: Full-Time (40hrs/wk)

·         Hours: Day Shift, includes rotating hours and on-call responsibility

·         Required Travel: None

What you will do:

·         Perform Interventional Procedures Technologist duties, including angiographic/vascular radiologic imaging procedures, while serving as a clinical and operational resource for the team

·         Lead day-to-day department activities, including staff assignments, workflow coordination and supporting efficient, compassionate patient care

·         Support team member development through training, coaching, feedback and serving as a resource for policies, standards and patient care procedure

·         Participate in quality improvement initiatives, radiation safety activities, equipment and supply management, and implementation of department policies and procedures

·         Assist department leadership with staff scheduling, interviewing and onboarding new team members, performance evaluations and other departmental initiatives

What you will need:

·         License: Current Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) license and ARRT certification required

·         Education: Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program required; post-graduate experience preferred

·         Certification: CPR/BLS Certification required; ACLS certification required within 12 months of position start

·         Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a technologist in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology procedures

·         Skills: EKG and hemodynamic monitoring competency; demonstrated leadership, communication and teamwork skills
