As part of Zain Cash’s strategic focus on growing its International Remittances (IR) business, the International Remittances Specialist supports business growth by identifying new market opportunities, expanding remittance corridors, strengthening partnerships with international remittance providers, and increasing transaction volumes and revenue. The role involves executing growth initiatives, analyzing market trends and business performance, optimizing existing services, and ensuring operational efficiency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the execution of international remittance growth initiatives and projects with global partners, including Western Union and Trans Fast….etc.
• Identify opportunities to expand remittance corridors, increase transaction volumes, and grow revenue.
• Strengthening relationships with international remittance partners and exploring new business opportunities.
• Analyze remittance performance, market trends, and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities and provide actionable recommendations to management.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, service quality, and customer experience.
• Document operational processes and procedures and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
• Provide regular market research plans, actions, trends, and competitors’ activities as well as creating market reports and updating them regularly to provide insights on the market status and assist in the decision-making process.
• Gathering and analyzing data as well as creating reports and dashboards to present information and KPIs to optimize CVM activities and accelerate customers’ value.
• Use profiling of the customers and the data available for each customer to have geographic, demographic, psychographic and behavioral segmentation to better target them with any campaign (retention or up-selling cross- selling) accordingly.
• Developing, implementing, and managing cross-selling and up-selling campaigns using all available channels to increase revenues and offer extra value, and enhance the active base percentages.
• Managing retention programs and campaigns that guarantee long term commitment and increase lifetime value.
• Identify opportunities to develop forecasts, statistical models, segmentation schemes, and data driven analyses to drive marketing around customer acquisition, retention, and value-extraction.
• Assisting in developing and implementing marketing plans for the Business Marketing segment, which aim at customer retention, acquisition, and value extraction for corporate products in the assigned segments.
• Support in building business cases for new promotional campaigns; by forecasting the uptake based on previous similar promotions and the target segment, the expected revenues and cannibalization and the opportunity cost.
• Run and monitor continuous detailed analysis that covers (customer behavior, channels efficiency, churn, active base, and predictive analysis) to be able to launch campaigns to retain the customers, target them with the most efficient channels, forecast what will they be interested in and will help monitor the overall performance in terms of base movement.
• Regularly conducts market research campaigns and acts upon the findings with the management. By conducting surveys or focus groups.
• Manage upselling channels with responsibility to secure the maximum and efficient utilization of each available channel (SMS, Tele sales, Call Center, shop reps.) 
• Utilize current Cross selling programs to increase service base to ensure new revenue generations by pushing new services to the right segment that the customer might be interested in to have more services and generate more revenues.
• Support in running up-selling campaigns urging current customers to uplift usage by pushing customers to get more value for a better price.  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, marketing or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in remittances, payments, financial services, or business development.
• Experience supporting international remittance operations, projects, or business growth initiatives.
• Knowledge of remittance market dynamics, partner operations, and relevant compliance requirements.
