The Role:

You will sit in the Commercial Office and work directly with the VP of Commercial & Marketing, who oversees performance marketing, eCommerce, retail, corporate sales and brand. This is not a shadowing role. You will own real pieces of work, from research and analysis through to recommendations that leadership acts on.

Your time splits across three areas:

• B2C marketing: campaigns, promotions and content for consumers buying online and in store.
• B2B marketing: materials, outreach and insights that help our corporate sales team win and grow business accounts.
• Strategic projects: time-bound initiatives set by the VP, such as channel analysis, new product launches and business cases.

What you will do

Strategic Projects

• Research, scope and run projects assigned by the VP, from first question to final recommendation.
• Build business cases, project trackers and leadership updates.
• Prepare pre-reads, slides and summaries for management meetings.
• Follow up on actions across teams so projects keep moving.

B2C Marketing

• Support campaign and promotion planning for key sale periods (e.g. 9.9, 10.10, 11.11, payday).
• Track campaign results across our website, marketplaces and stores, and report what worked.
• Monitor competitor pricing, promotions and launches.
• Help write and review product, campaign and launch copy.

B2B Marketing

• Build sales materials for the corporate team: pitch decks, product sheets and quote templates.
• Research target companies and industries to build lead lists.
• Help plan B2B campaigns and outreach to businesses, schools and government buyers.
• Pull together customer and deal insights to sharpen how we sell to businesses.

Data and Reporting

• Pull and clean sales and marketing data from tools like Google Sheets, Shopify and ad platforms.
• Turn data into clear charts, tables and one-page summaries.

Requirements

• Currently studying, or recently graduated, in Business, Marketing, Economics, Communications or a related field.

• Strong in Excel or Google Sheets: formulas, pivot tables, basic charts.
• Writes clearly and simply, in English, for both slides and emails.
• Comfortable with numbers and able to explain what they mean.
• Organised, takes ownership, and follows up without being chased.

Nice to Have

• Past internship or project work in marketing, eCommerce, sales or consulting.
• Familiarity with Shopify, Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, Meta Ads or Google Ads.
• Experience using AI tools to speed up research, writing or analysis.
• Interest in consumer electronics and home appliances.
• Conversational Mandarin or Malay, for Malaysia market work.
