We are looking for an intern to join our Risk Management team. This internship is offered as a fixed-term assignment for a period of two months.

Responsibilities

• Enter and perform plausibility checks on audited financial statements within our internal rating model, in line with Moody's methodology.
• Prepare assessment summaries for counterparties in Word, building on prior-year documentation and analyses.
• Collaborate closely with the Risk team to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of all assessments.
• Support ongoing quality assurance activities within the risk assessment process

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of balance sheet and financial statement analysis, gained through coursework or previous practical experience.
• Understanding of common financial ratios, such as liquidity, capital adequacy, and refinancing metrics, is considered an advantage.
• Highly diligent and structured working style, with a strong attention to detail and a low tolerance for errors, as the output directly supports risk-related decision-making.
• Strong Excel skills, including the use of formulas and financial data models.
• Fluent written and spoken German and English, with the ability to prepare professional Word-based reports.
• Demonstrated discretion and professionalism in handling confidential financial information of counterparties.
• Interest in cryptocurrency and financial market regulation is a plus, but not required.
