Job Description Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Engineering & Management student to join our Materials team as a Student Buyer / Material Specialist. In this role, you will support procurement activities, work directly with suppliers, monitor material availability, and assist in ensuring uninterrupted supply to production.Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage purchase orders in ERP systems.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding order confirmations, delivery dates, and shipment status.
- Monitor material shortages and support mitigation activities.
- Track open orders and proactively resolve supply issues.
- Maintain accurate procurement and supplier data.
- Support inventory management and material planning activities.
- Support reports generation, analyze procurement, and inventory data.
- Participate in supplier communication and performance follow-up.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Materials and Supply Chain organization.
Requirements
- Industrial Engineering & Management student (2nd year or above).
- Availability to work 3 full working days per week.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hebrew.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle/SAP advantage).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, or operations.
- Knowledge of inventory management and material planning concepts.
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
