Job Description:

As an Inside Sales Account Associate at UPS you play an important role by maintaining and growing your own client portfolio, which consists of an average of 200 clients. You will focus on the entire sales process, client acquisition, client onboarding, and, of course, client retention. We operate in a hybrid and fast-paced market, and we also consider it important that you maintain good contact with your colleagues. That is why you have the opportunity to work partly from our office in Amsterdam and partly from home. This job is very diverse and entails a lot of responsibility, so you will start with extensive training.

Responsibilities:

• Actively approach new customers via phone, email, and follow-up on leads;
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers;
• Advise customers on the logistics solutions that best fit their needs;
• Prepare quotations and work with pricing team to create customer proposals;
• Keep track of sales opportunities and customer information in the CRM system;
• Stay informed about market developments and identify new business opportunities;
• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall team performance.

What you’ll bring:

• Higher Professional Education (HBO) or Secondary Vocational Education (MBO), with experience in a similar position;
• Knowledge of supply chain and logistics is a plus;
• Native Dutch speaker and fluent in English;
• A passion for sales;
• Strong communication skills and persuasiveness;
• Problem-solving ability;
• A strong sense of responsibility.
