What our Industrial Director will do

·       Report to the Head of the Business Group and provide leadership for all industrial-related activities across the Business Group

·       Lead, develop, and mentor a cross-functional team of Industrial, Test, and Supply Chain professionals to deliver business objectives

·       Define and execute Front-End and Back-End industrial strategies, ensuring access to a resilient, long-term geopolitical manufacturing footprint with the scale, flexibility, and cost competitiveness required to achieve the Business Group growth ambitions

·       Support Business Group New Product Introduction activities, ensuring industrial roadmaps are fully aligned with product, technology, and R&D roadmaps

·       Build strong collaborative relationships across the Technology and Operations organisation, particularly with the Management Team, Global and Site Supply Chain Management teams, Front-End and Back-End Operations teams, Procurement, and External Manufacturing

·       Partner with your Product Groups by providing industrial expertise and MAG-specific input on capacity allocation, customer escalations, and other strategic industrial topics

·       Lead the Business Group Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, driving effective demand and supply planning, alignment, and execution

·       Manage the Business Group factory loading and industrial planning across internal and external wafer fabrication, assembly, and test operations, making week-to-week adjustments to optimize capacity and avoid customer impact

·       Drive capacity expansion, cost reduction, and yield improvement initiatives, ensuring key performance indicators are clearly defined, monitored, and achieved

·       Collaborate with External Manufacturing teams to lead foundry and OSAT transfer programs while continuously improving supplier performance, operational effectiveness, and strategic partnerships

·       Oversee capital expenditure planning, investment approvals, and expenditure tracking to ensure alignment with business priorities

·       Develop and maintain industrial market intelligence and benchmarking for MOSFET technologies, providing insights to support strategic decision-making

What you will need

·       Bachelor’s degree or higher, or an equivalent qualification, in a relevant discipline such as Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

·       Demonstrated success in leadership, project management, people management, including management of managers, senior stakeholder management, and organizational change

·       Extensive experience in industrial planning and high-volume manufacturing within a technical environment, preferably gained in semiconductor wafer fabrication

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment

·       A highly self-motivated, collaborative, and detail-oriented approach, with a strong commitment to achieving results

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence effectively at all levels of the organization

·       Proven ability to perform effectively under pressure while managing competing priorities and meeting challenging deadlines
