The 2027 Summer Internship Program will run from May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027. Candidates must be available to start on May 17 and participate through the duration of the program.

What Will You Do? 

In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for: 

• Support strategic sourcing initiatives and cost savings/cost avoidance projects across a variety of indirect spend categories.
• Analyze procurement, supplier, and spend data to identify trends, opportunities, and recommendations that support sourcing strategies and business decisions.
• Maintain supplier, pricing, and contract-related information within procurement systems and databases.
• Assist with the preparation, distribution, and analysis of Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Requests for Quotation (RFQs).
• Conduct market research and gather supplier intelligence to support sourcing projects and category strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, IT, Marketing, Operations, Engineering, and Manufacturing to understand business requirements and support sourcing initiatives.
• Participate in supplier evaluations, business reviews, and contract management activities.
• Support process improvement efforts by helping identify efficiencies, documenting procedures, and recommending best practices.

What Do You Need? 

We require interns to be enrolled in an educational program during the duration of the internship program.

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, finance, operations, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with an interest in interpreting data and developing business insights.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; experience with data visualization or reporting tools is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build positive working relationships.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn, take initiative, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
