Job Responsibilities**
* Lead the design, development, and implementation of high-performance and scalable Node.js applications and microservices.
* Collaborate with product owners, architects, and other engineers to define technical requirements and translate them into actionable development plans.
* Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and architectural standards.
* Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers.
* Troubleshoot and debug complex production issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
* Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of applications through thorough testing and monitoring.
* Actively participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
* Research and evaluate new technologies and tools to improve development processes and application capabilities.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of our CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
* 2+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend engineering.
* Proven expertise (2+ years) in designing and developing robust applications using Node.js and related frameworks (e.g., Express.js, NestJS).
* Solid understanding of asynchronous programming paradigms and event-driven architectures.
* Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
* Proficiency in designing and consuming RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
* Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
* Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
* Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Chai).
