As a business application consulting generalist at PwC, you will provide consulting services for a wide range of business applications. You will leverage a broad understanding of various software solutions to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency through analysis, implementation, training, and support.

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled MERN Stack Developer with hands-on experience in React.js, Node.js, MongoDB, and Express.js, along with exposure to AI/Generative AI solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing scalable web applications, integrating AI-powered features, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative digital solutions. 

Responsibilities: 

 

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using the MERN stack. 

• Build responsive and reusable UI components using React.js. 

• Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and Express.js. 

• Integrate AI/LLM services such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Gemini, or Claude into applications. 

• Implement chatbot, recommendation, search, and AI-driven automation solutions. 

• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability. 

• Collaborate with product, UX, and DevOps teams throughout the development lifecycle. 

• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities. 

Mandatory skill sets: 

 

• 4+ years of experience in MERN Stack development. 

• Strong expertise in React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB. 

• Experience with JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. 

• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture. 

• Experience integrating AI/GenAI APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, etc.). 

• Git, CI/CD, and Agile development practices. 

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. 
   

Preferred Skill sets

• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). 

• Knowledge of Vector Databases (Pinecone, ChromaDB, Weaviate). 

• Cloud experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP. 

• Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments. 

• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or AI orchestration frameworks.
