The Role: Implementation Lead
The Implementation Lead serves as the operational bridge implementing core customer and operational programs with inter-department handoffs. Ensures seamless transition from contract award to delivery, maintaining momentum and clarity throughout implementation. Serve as primary point of contact for all post-contract customer delivery needs. Translates customer vision and sales cycle commitments into a sustainable, well‑managed program of record. For non-customer programs, develops plans and implements programs aligned to defined operational needs.
What You’ll Get To Do
Lead execution of agreed upon implementation plans and deliverables following contract award.
Operate as the central liaison for customer delivery expectations and performance.
Manage cross functional coordination to guide internal teams through execution phases (e.g., coordination with manufacturing or engineering leaders on delivering commitments).
Monitor delivery performance, identify risks, and resolve challenges before escalation including development and delivery of written products and deliverables.
Ensure all implementation activities align with customer goals and long‑term success metrics.
Establish and document foundational processes that support scalable program growth (e.g., Customer Success program design in partnership with Business Development).
Serve as a functional coordinator for tours of Venus facilities for prospective customers, government entities, and partners, in direct partnership with the Communications department.
Partner with Business Development, Government Relations, Communications, and supporting operational teams to execute facility visits and stakeholder meetings.
Design, Plan, and Lead implementation of operational programs as designated by the Operations Department leadership, to include non-customer related programs and initiatives.
Support operational components of the program as scale increases; responsibilities may grow to include broader operational duties.
What You Have
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
3 - 5 years of experience implementing plans, deliverables, or operational programs.
Proven ability to drive cross functional execution and maintain alignment across internal and external stakeholders.
Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to anticipate points of friction and drive resolution proactively with partners across the business.
Experience in executive-level settings to include tours, briefs, and sales to delivery cycles of established programs.
