職務概要（JOB PURPOSE）

エンジニアとして、HVAC（空調）システムおよび関連コンポーネントの設計・開発・評価・改善活動を担当していただきます。

本ポジションでは、新製品開発および現行製品の維持・改善活動において、サプライヤー、製造部門、品質部門、グローバルエンジニアリングチームと連携しながら、品質・性能・耐久性・コストの目標達成に向けた開発活動を推進していただきます。

職務内容（JOB DUTIES）

サプライヤーや社内関係部門と協力しながら、オペレータステーションに搭載されるHVACシステムおよび関連部品の開発を推進します。

主な業務内容は以下の通りです。

• HVACシステムおよび関連部品の要求仕様策定、設計、および開発
• サプライヤーと連携した製品開発、設計レビュー、および技術課題解決
• 性能・環境・耐久評価の計画、実施、および結果評価
• 市場品質問題の調査、原因分析、および改善活動の推進
• 関係部門と連携した新製品開発、品質向上、およびコスト低減活動

JOB PURPOSE:

As an Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, validation, and continuous improvement of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems and related components.

In this role, you will drive development activities for both new product introductions and current product enhancement initiatives. Working closely with suppliers, manufacturing, quality, and global engineering teams, you will be responsible for delivering solutions that meet quality, performance, durability, and cost objectives.

JOB DUTIES:

The incumbent will work closely with suppliers, customers, manufacturing teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to develop HVAC systems and related Operator Station components that meet Caterpillar requirements for performance, quality, durability, reliability, and cost.

This role requires strong technical and project management skills to drive component development activities from concept through production implementation. Major responsibilities include:

• Develop requirements, specifications, and designs for HVAC systems and related components.
• Collaborate with suppliers to support product development, design reviews, and technical issue resolution.
• Plan, execute, and evaluate performance, environmental, and durability validation activities.
• Investigate product quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
• Partner with manufacturing, purchasing, quality, validation, and global engineering teams to support new product development, quality improvement, and cost reduction initiatives.

This position requires strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, along with the ability to effectively collaborate with global teams and suppliers.
