HR Technology (HRIS) Associate

The HR Technology Associate will be responsible for supporting the ongoing management, enhancement, and optimization of HR technology platforms, with a primary focus on ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD) and other HR technology solutions, including Workday. This role will partner with HR, Technology, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, gather and document requirements, recommend best-practice solutions, and support the successful delivery of platform enhancements and initiatives.

The position will also be responsible for testing, change management, documentation, and ongoing support activities to ensure effective and scalable HR technology solutions.

HRIS Project & Process Management

• Collaborate with HR, Technology, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and platform enhancement.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Evaluate business needs and provide best-practice recommendations for HR technology solutions and process design.
• Support prioritization and management of enhancement requests and project initiatives.
• Coordinate and oversee testing activities, including test planning, test script development, execution, and defect resolution.
• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate solutions against business requirements.
• Support change management, communication, training, and user adoption activities associated with new functionality and process changes.
• Provide ongoing support for HR technology projects and enhancement initiatives from intake through deployment.
• Resolve issues and defects

HRIS System Maintenance & Controls

• Support program management of the ServiceNow HRSD platform and associated HR technology solutions.
• Review and coordinate enhancement design, development activities, and system logic to ensure alignment with business requirements and best practices.
• Partner with development teams to validate proposed solutions and resolve system issues.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance standard operating procedures (SOPs), process documentation, user guides, and knowledge articles.
• Monitor platform performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, user experience, data quality, and process effectiveness.
• Support governance activities, including documentation standards, testing controls, and release readiness reviews.
• Participate in ongoing platform optimization efforts and future enhancements within ServiceNow HRSD, Workday, and other HR technology platforms.
• Assist with troubleshooting, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives across the HR technology landscape.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years HRIS experience
• Workday and ServiceNow HR Service Delivery experience is highly preferred
• Experience in the financial services industry highly preferred
• Experience working in a global organization a plus
• Strong understanding of HR, payroll and finance processes and procedures (i.e. recruiting, benefits, payroll, performance management, time tracking, etc.)
• Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously and independently, resolve issues, meet deadlines and escalate appropriately to management.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical constituents
• Experience handling highly sensitive data with confidentiality
• Demonstrated experience to quickly adapt to learn new systems
• Bachelor’s degree required

Expected annual base salary range:

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the role consist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses. Certain employees may also be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone’s sole discretion.
