About the location:

A secluded oasis at the edge of an idyllic lagoon! Purpose

 

Coordinates and supervises cleaning and preparation of the Resort villas and residences to ensure guest satisfaction with the quality of the Resort accommodation offered.

General

 

• Is directly responsible for the day to day key processes in his/her area of work
• Assists his/her supervisor in executing the day to day operational requirements
• Assumes training responsibilities when required; demonstrates a high degree of standards awareness; promotes teamwork and acts as role model
• Attends all scheduled training sessions
• Actively offers operational, employee and customer (internal and external) related feedback to management
• Displays warmth, care and genuine enthusiasm when dealing with guests and internal customers; lives the Golden Rule
• Adheres to the hotel's code of conduct and grooming & hygiene standards
• Is seen as working hands-on, assists colleagues in crunch times.

Departmental

 

• Inspects guest rooms as assigned and in accordance with hotel standards; stocks and maintains the linen closet.
• Possesses a high degree of product knowledge and relevant technical skills. Keeps abreast of events in the hotel
• Provides genuine hospitality and recognition in the work area. Promotes hotel services and products
• Anticipates guest needs and takes ownership of guest concerns and requests; acts decisively to ensure guest satisfaction. Offers a special service touch when an opportunity is presented
• Is proficient in the safe handling of all relevant equipment and machinery; reports defects and accidents to management immediately. Is competent in MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) procedures and trained in accident response
• Attends to guest and internal customers’ calls and coordinates with concerned departments to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
• Assists in general department administration
• Handles "Do Not Disturb" rooms according to Hotel policy
• Ensures follow up on maintenance requirements in the areas assigned
• Assists in routine inventory taking of supplies and operating equipment
• Ensures Maids Pantries are kept clean and tidy
• Perform any cognate duties as and when required.
• Ensures Benchmark standard done every day while inspecting occupied guest room with essential met.
• Make sure all PRP villas are well prepared by removing all amenities and well cover before Engineering start any project.
• Make sure section Roster done prior one week before previous roster ended.
• Ensures all arrival villas are well inspected according to standards set as well as guest essentials.
• Proper handing over is done at the end of each shift and acknowledge previous handovers. 
• Ensures follow up is done on assigned pending task and duties.
• Follow and update glitch on assigned section before shift ended.
• To ensures time frame is been respected for OOO rooms and to inform Manager if any planned work might not be completed on time. Also cleaning and villa released on inventory as planned.
• Make sure every arrival release on time (latest 3.00pm) as per our check in procedure.
• Ensures new recruit get proper training, well monitored, well treated and ready to work after three month.

 

 

Special Requirements

 

• Technical education in Hospitality management is preferred
• 3 years previous experience in the Housekeeping Department of a 5-star Resort/Hotel and at least one year in a supervisory position.
• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English and French language.
• Possesses excellent computer skills, working knowledge of PMS like Fidelio, Opera and Training Skills
• Possesses aptitude, management skills and upward mobility
• Has an eye for details
• Punctuality should be the key word of Supervisors.
