Housekeeping Assistant

Hours: Full Time - 30 weekly hours

(this role is predominantly evenings and weekends - working over a 5 day working week)

Location: Oaklands Hospital - Salford

The role:

We currently have a great opportunity for a Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Oaklands Hospital, based in Salford. This is an exciting and important operational support role cleaning across the clinical and non-clinical departments to facilitate the efficient and timely required hygiene standards.

As an integral and valued member of our housekeeping team, you will be required to assist in maintaining the hospitals outstanding reputation for quality and cleanliness. A good understanding of Hospital Infection prevention processes would be advantageous. 

What you will bring: 

• High levels of customer service as this role is patient facing 

• A positive can do attitude

• The ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment

• Good interpersonal skills

• The ability to manage own workload

• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required

• Knowledge on Hospital Infection prevention (desired not required)
