Mō te Tūranga | About the Role 

As a Home Loan Specialist, you will provide advice and solutions across our range of products, with a focus on customers with home lending needs.

You’ll support customers through the home lending journey, providing high-quality advice and tailored solutions to help them achieve their home ownership goals. You’ll work with customers in person and over the phone, keeping them informed and supported as their onboarding and lending is arranged.

The experience and strengths you’ll bring:

This role would suit someone who already has experience in home lending and understands the lending process, customer conversations, and compliance requirements involved. You will bring:

• Minimum 12–18 months’ experience in home lending, within banking or a financial services organisation.
• A strong understanding of the end-to-end home lending process, with confidence supporting customers through each stage.
• A calm, clear, and level-headed communication style, particularly when supporting customers through complex lending conversations.
• Confidence using digital tools, with the ability to adapt quickly to new systems and platforms.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build genuine rapport with customers.
