About the Opportunity

The Festive Rooms Division Internship is a unique development opportunity designed for high-potential hospitality professionals who aspire to build a future leadership career in luxury hospitality. This immersive internship provides hands-on exposure across multiple Rooms Division departments, including Front Office, Guest Services, Guest Experience, Concierge, and Housekeeping.

Ideal for hospitality students and recent graduates, this role offers valuable operational experience while developing the skills, knowledge, and leadership foundation needed for a successful career within the luxury hotel industry.

Key Responsibilities

During the internship, you will:

• Gain hands-on experience across multiple Rooms Division departments.

• Support daily hotel operations while delivering exceptional guest experiences in line with Four Seasons standards.

• Learn and apply service recovery techniques, guest recognition practices, and personalized hospitality.

• Collaborate with team members across various departments to foster a positive and supportive hotel culture.

• Assist with guest communications through email and guest messaging platforms.

• Coordinate and action guest requests in a timely and professional manner.

• Support festive programming, special events, and seasonal activations throughout the hotel.

Operational Exposure

Interns can expect to assist with a variety of operational responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Stripping guest rooms for Housekeeping.

• Performing room inspections and quality assurance checks.

• Assisting with guest luggage and arrival experiences.

• Supporting festive activities and holiday programming.

• Assisting with room setups and special guest requests.

• Delivering guest amenities.

• Serving as a Lobby Ambassador and providing proactive guest assistance.

• Escorting VIP guests throughout the property.

• Monitoring and responding to guest communications.

• Supporting guest request coordination and follow-up.

Qualifications

We are seeking candidates who possess:

• Current enrollment in, or recent completion of, a degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Tourism, or a related field.

• Previous luxury hospitality experience through internships, placements, or employment.

• A genuine passion for Rooms Division operations and creating exceptional guest experiences.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Professional presence and exceptional attention to detail.

• The ability to build meaningful relationships with guests and colleagues.

• A positive attitude, intellectual curiosity, and a desire to develop into a future hospitality leader.

• Fluency in spoken and written English.

What to Expect

• Compensation: $20.50 - $22.00 per hour
• Full-time internship based on a 40-hour work week.

• Cross-functional exposure to key Rooms Division departments.

• Hands-on operational experience within a luxury hotel environment.

• Opportunities to work during high-profile festive programming and peak operational periods.

• Weekend, holiday, and special event availability is required, as these are critical business periods.
