Shape Kambi’s global tax strategy as we grow

This is an opportunity to lead and shape the global tax function at Kambi, bringing together strategy, governance, international expansion and commercial decision-making in a highly visible leadership role.

Reporting directly to the CFO, you’ll have the scope to influence how Kambi manages tax across its international operations, while building scalable processes and providing clear, commercially grounded advice to senior stakeholders.

We work in a hybrid way, combining flexibility with time together in person. You’ll spend three days each week in the office, collaborating with colleagues and building the relationships that will be central to your success in the role.

About the role

As Head of Tax, you’ll lead Kambi’s global approach to tax, ensuring our operations remain compliant, efficient and aligned with the needs of the business.

Your remit will span tax strategy and governance, compliance and reporting, transfer pricing, international expansion and tax transformation. You’ll also act as a trusted business partner, helping colleagues navigate the tax implications of contracts, new markets, strategic initiatives and potential transactions.

This is a role for someone who enjoys combining technical depth with commercial thinking. You’ll have the opportunity not only to manage today’s requirements, but also to strengthen how the tax function operates for the future.

What you’ll do

You’ll:

• Shape Kambi’s group tax strategy and governance, maintaining an effective tax risk and control framework and providing clear reporting to the Audit Committee and Board.
• Lead global tax compliance and reporting, including tax returns, provisioning and tax accounting under IFRS, while ensuring compliance with relevant international tax treaties.
• Own our transfer pricing approach, maintaining OECD-compliant documentation and leading transfer pricing planning, strategy and governance.
• Support Kambi’s international growth, assessing the tax implications of new markets, products and territories, and leading tax due diligence and structuring reviews.
• Partner with the business on commercial decisions, providing practical recommendations on areas such as contract structures and withholding tax, while supporting M&A and other strategic projects.
• Manage tax authority and regulatory matters, leading relationships with tax authorities, audits and dispute resolution, and keeping Kambi informed of relevant regulatory developments.
• Transform and strengthen the tax function, improving processes and controls, increasing automation, reducing manual dependency and creating robust documentation and playbooks.
• Build long-term resilience, developing scalable ways of working and strengthening succession and knowledge continuity across the function.

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone with the technical expertise and judgement to lead an international tax function, combined with the ability to turn complex issues into practical recommendations.

You’ll bring:

• A recognised tax or accounting qualification, such as CTA, ACA, CA, CPA or equivalent.
• At least seven years’ experience in international tax.
• Experience leading group tax within a multinational organisation.
• Strong transfer pricing expertise.
• A commercial mindset and the ability to balance tax, regulatory and broader business considerations.
• The confidence to communicate clearly and influence stakeholders at senior levels.
• Strong judgement, integrity and a collaborative, proactive approach.

Experience in one or more of the following would be useful, but isn’t essential:

• A listed company environment.
• A technology or digital platform business.
• B2B, SaaS or gaming businesses.
