PURPOSE

• Lead Group-wide investment management and manager-of-managers (MoM) capability, covering mandate strategy, manager selection, and portfolio oversight across traditional and ILP assets

• Build and scale a centralised mandate management platform to drive performance, governance, and fee optimisation across the Group

• Deliver consistent, ALM-aligned investment outcomes through effective allocation, execution, and manager governance across markets

KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES

• Mandate strategy & execution: Define investment mandates, allocation strategies, and portfolio construction aligned with SAA/TAA and ALM requirements

• Manager-of-managers platform: Build and lead centralised manager selection, onboarding, and performance oversight capability across Group portfolios

• Manager & partner management: Establish and manage relationships with asset managers; lead commercial negotiations (IMAs, SMAs, fund structures)

• Portfolio oversight: Monitor performance, risk, and compliance across mandates; drive attribution, optimisation, and rebalancing

• Governance & IC: Lead investment governance, including IC processes, mandate approvals, and escalation frameworks

• Cross-BU coordination: Partner with BU CIOs and teams on mandate execution, alignment, and local implementation requirements

• ILP / product support: Support investment-linked and other product structures, including manager selection, pricing inputs, and portfolio design

• Capital solutions: Develop and execute capital-efficient structures (e.g., derivatives, hedging, liquidity strategies) in partnership with Group functions

• Derivatives: ISDA / CSA negotiations and management

• Platform & process improvement: Streamline mandate management processes, reporting, and data integration to enable scale and efficiency

• Team leadership: Build and manage a high-performing investment team across mandate management, capital solutions, and analytics

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• 15+ years of experience in insurance asset management / mandate investment / portfolio management

• Strong track record in allocation, manager selection, and portfolio construction

• Degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline; CFA / MBA preferred

KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Deep expertise in ALM-linked portfolio construction and multi-asset allocation

• Strong experience in manager-of-managers, mandate structuring, and fee negotiation

• Understanding of insurance investment dynamics, including capital, liquidity, and regulatory constraints

• Advanced capability in portfolio analytics, performance attribution, and risk assessment

• Strong stakeholder management across internal teams and external managers
