Responsibilities
Monitor market conditions and liquidity to support optimal pricing, execution quality, and risk control.
Ensure alignment of local dealing practices with group trading strategies and policies.
Manage market, liquidity, and operational risks within defined limits and risk appetite.
Ensure effective controls, monitoring, and escalation procedures are in place.
Act as a key contributor to incident management and post-event analysis for the region.
Ensure full compliance with local regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
Act as a senior point of contact for regulators, auditors, and internal control functions where required.
Support regulatory reporting and contribute to regulatory change initiatives impacting the dealing function.
Lead, mentor, and develop the local dealing team.
Work closely with Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Technology teams to ensure smooth operational delivery.
Act as a key liaison between the Bahamas entity and group-level stakeholders.
Contribute to the ongoing development of dealing strategies, systems, and processes.
Identify opportunities to improve execution quality, operational efficiency, and scalability.
Support business growth initiatives, including new products or market expansion, where relevant.
Requirements
More than 6-8 years’ of professional experience in dealing / trading / market operations within a regulated financial services environment (preferably CFD / FX / multi-asset brokerage).
Proven experience in leading and managing a dealing desk or trading team.
Strong exposure to market making, liquidity management, and execution oversight.
Experience operating under a regulated framework (ideally offshore / Bahamas or comparable jurisdiction).
Demonstrated ownership of risk management processes within defined limits and risk appetite.
Experience interacting with regulators, auditors, and internal control functions.
Prior experience launching new products or supporting market expansion initiatives.
Experience in incident management and post-event review processes.
