Join our Transformation team as Head of Business Process Excellence and play a key role in enabling effective end-to-end Business Process Management across Sartorius. In this role, you will establish process frameworks, strengthen governance structures and develop capabilities that empower Global Process Owners to continuously improve process performance, efficiency, quality and customer outcomes across the enterprise.
Working closely with business leaders and process owners, you will drive transparency, support process performance improvements and advance major process improvement and transformation initiatives through a consistent and scalable approach. By connecting people, processes, data and technology, you will help strengthen Business Process Management as a key enabler of continuous improvement, productivity, digital transformation and sustainable business value creation. By doing so, you will contribute to better health for more people.
Based in Goettingen with the possibility to work some days in a week remotely.

Grow With Us – Your Responsibilities

• Define, continuously improve and transform the Sartorius end-to-end Business Process Management landscape, global process architecture and process design standards to create a transparent, user-centric and scalable process landscape
• Partner with Global Process Owners and business leaders to develop process strategies and transformation roadmaps, translating business priorities and objectives into executable, value-driven process initiatives
• Develop and evolve the enterprise process performance management system, including KPI frameworks, measurement standards and performance review mechanisms
• Drive process intelligence capabilities through process mining, performance analytics, benchmarking and process maturity assessments to identify, evaluate and prioritize improvement opportunities
• Advance AI-enabled process capabilities and support the evolution of business processes through automation, intelligent decision support and digital technologies while ensuring appropriate controls, governance and human oversight
• Shape major ERP and enterprise platform transformations from an end-to-end business process perspective, leveraging expertise in SAP S/4HANA, global templates, master data concepts and integrations with platforms such as EWM, MES, Salesforce and other enterprise technologies
• Lead and develop the Business Process Excellence team and strengthen expertise across Sartorius core, management and support processes while fostering the process owner and key-user community through standards, coaching, training and best-practice sharing
• Drive major enterprise process transformation initiatives through process impact assessments, enterprise process roadmaps and cross-functional governance
• Foster continuous improvement by combining Lean, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, process redesign and digitalization to identify, prioritize and implement improvement opportunities

What Will Convince Us

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, Economics or a related discipline
• Significant leadership experience in business process management, process excellence, operational excellence or business transformation within complex international organizations, including leadership of global or cross-functional processes
• Proven track record of transforming end-to-end processes across functions and geographies, delivering measurable improvements in productivity, cost, quality, cycle times and customer experience
• Strong expertise in process redesign, continuous improvement, Lean, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, structured problem solving and data-driven process optimization
• Strong digital and technology acumen, including process mining, automation, workflow technologies and platforms such as SAP Signavio, Celonis or comparable solutions
• Forward-looking mindset regarding AI and automation, with the ability to identify and scale opportunities for intelligent automation and AI-supported process improvements
• Experience with process performance management, process governance and ownership models, KPI frameworks, performance analytics and benchmarking
• Outstanding transformation leadership and stakeholder management capabilities with the ability to challenge established ways of working, influence senior leaders and Global Process Owners, navigate organizational complexity and translate challenges into executable solutions
• Fluent English, German is an advantage
