We are excited to announce an opening for a Part-Time Hair Stylist at our Osceola County locations. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for washing, cutting, and styling our patients' hair in our Wellness Center. This position requires traveling to different locations: Kissimmee BVL and Poinciana.

The Hair Stylist handles standard operational processes under moderate supervision, applying working knowledge to tasks that occasionally require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures. Decisions are procedure-driven and have direct impact on team output. This job communicates information that may require explanation, and achieves results within defined oversight.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Consult with patients to understand hair care needs, styling preferences, and desired outcomes.
• Evaluate hair condition and recommend appropriate hair care, treatment, cutting, and styling options within the scope of cosmetology practice.
• Shampoo, condition, treat, cut, trim, shape, and style hair using appropriate tools, products, and techniques.
• Adjust services based on hair texture, condition, facial features, patient preferences, and comfort considerations.
• Clean and disinfect workstations, tools, equipment, and reusable supplies in accordance with salon safety standards, infection prevention practices, and applicable regulations.
• Monitor product and supply inventory, identify anticipated needs, and submit or place replenishment orders through established processes.
• Maintain accurate service schedules and support an organized, welcoming, and efficient wellness center environment.
• Provide services professionally and courteously while protecting patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
• Follow organizational policies, safety procedures, manufacturer instructions, and applicable cosmetology laws and regulations.
• Maintain current knowledge of hair care products, styling methods, sanitation requirements, and hairstyle trends.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a state-approved cosmetology program required.
• At least one year of professional hair styling or cosmetology experience using clippers, scissors, and other standard hair care tools required.
• Current and valid license to practice cosmetology in Florida required.
• Working knowledge of shampooing, conditioning, hair treatment, cutting, trimming, shaping, and styling techniques.
• Working knowledge of salon sanitation, disinfection, safety, and infection prevention standards.
• Ability to communicate professionally and respectfully with patients from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to listen to patient preferences, explain available options, and provide appropriate service recommendations.
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to maintain patient privacy and handle personal interactions with discretion and sensitivity.

Compensation Range:

$18.00

to

$27.00

 

The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
