THE JOB:
The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Director sets the enterprise-wide strategic direction, program vision, and governance frameworks to manage organizational risk in a 24/7/365 environment. Overseeing multiple high-impact programs, including the GSOC Communications Center, the Strategic Intelligence Program, and the Crisis Management Program, the Director drives high-level strategy while delegating day-to-day operational execution and tactical shift management to a dedicated leadership team. The Director is responsible for cultivating strategic partnerships with the MGM Properties, public sector authorities, and private security networks to sustain MGMRI's industry-leading Security Information sharing model.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Establish the long-term vision, operational benchmarks, and standardized corporate-level strategic planning process for development, implementation for continuous improvement of the GSOC, Intelligence Program, and Emergency Management for the Corporate Security Department
• Provide high-level leadership and executive direction to the GSOC management team empowering them to handle daily shift operations, staff training, and tactical performance
• Build, lead, mentor, and train personnel to continually sustain a highly qualified and high-performing team. Set standards for a continuous learning culture, directing professional development programs, succession planning, and professional growth within the GSOC
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with strategic partners in law enforcement and intelligence, regulatory agencies, resort corridor security entities, fusion centers, technology vendors, and other gaming, hospitality, and entertainment industry peers
• Collaborate with Security Leadership and Executive Staff within MGMRI Departments to drive long-term strategy and vision of the GSOC, proposing new opportunities to improve security deliverables, facilitate change management, and guide the process to obtain support and partnerships from key stakeholders
• Define, evaluate, and report on high-level Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to improve the GSOC as well as demonstrate the GSOC’s business value, operational efficiency, and risk-mitigation impact to senior executive leadership
• Set the global intelligence requirements and strategic direction for the Strategic Intelligence Program, ensuring threat modeling, risk forecasting, and geopolitical risk assessments align with executive decision-making needs
• Formulate the overarching policies, protocols, and standard frameworks for the Enterprise-wide Crisis Management and Critical Incident Communications programs. Establish high-level escalation matrices and executive communication channels for critical incidents

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• 4+ Years of prior relevant experience required
• Bachelor's Degree in Intelligence studies, political science, national security, criminal justice, international studies or related field
