8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Education 

Required - High School diploma or equivalent

Work Experience

Required - None.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

• Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of patient information.     Must be proficient with Windows-style applications and keyboard.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process.
• Ability to read and write in order to communicate and give verbal instructions to patients

Job Duties
•  Greets patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
•  Assists patient and visitor(s) in and out of vehicle and gets help if needed via wheelchair or stretchers.
•  Directs patients and visitors to the appropriate departments and accurately answer patients’ questions.
•  Works harmoniously with volunteers and medical personnel to ensure a steady supply of wheelchairs at front doors through the day.
•  Cleans glass and doors, sweeps mats and entrance, and picks up trash daily, as needed.
•  Completes required fire safety on an annual basis.
•  Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to: respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style.
